Disney Land Paris- Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of Disney Land Paris! I'd say that this was a very ride themed day where we had managed to go on all the rides in both parks by this third day, which was super good! I think a factor that really helped us out was that the cues were not very long at all! Like for instance the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster we walked straight onto, where you sometimes have to wait at least an hour for, which I've done before.

By our second morning of breakfast Meg and I decided to work out a plan so we could get our breakfast super quick and find a table and be out to the Park as soon as possible. So we decided that a 'tag team' style would be good, where Meg got us drinks and found a table, and I basically loaded up a tray with as many Croissants as possible.

How many Croissants can you fit on one tray?
We then journeyed to the park and in Fantasyland there is a place called the Princess Pavilion, which is basically a building where you meet the Disney Princesses. Now don't be deceived its not that you can meet them all at once there, you can only meet one at the time, which sucks considering the amount of time you cue. When I went in 2013 with my friends from school we cued for over an hour, thinking that we'd meet about 4 princesses, but we didn't. You're led into a room and you meet just one princess, and you have no control over what princess that will be, so its a bit like Princess Russian Roulette. Luckily for me both times we've met Aurora, who is my favourite princess, but when you cue for a very long time you do feel a bit defeated when you come out meeting only one princess.
But this time when we went you cued in the morning to get a card with a time slot on for you to come back later to cue again to meet a princess. So in short; we cued to get a card, so we could cue some more later to meet a princess. Putting it like that makes it sound rubbish, I can see how this system works because they have a cut off point where people can't cue any more and they stop giving out cards, and by having allocated times for people to come back means you can go and do something else. But it does seem ludicrous having to tackle two very long cues just to meet one princess. So Meg and I knew what we were getting ourselves into but we thought since we had pretty much done everything we thought why not, and you also don't really have any other ways of meeting the Princess', as I've never seen any just walking round the park.

So after tackling that massive cue to get our time slot for the Princess Pavilion, we went off and explored, went on some rides and went through Alice's Curious Labyrinth, which is an Alice in Wonderland maze that takes you through parts of the story, which is another one of my favourites.

Which way?

These were our 'we are lost' faces

The end of the maze
After coming out of the maze we were super lucky to find that Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee were just outside signing autographs.

I'm not entirely sure who is who from the photos!

It was then time to head back over to the Princess Pavilion for our time slot to cue. We cued for just over 45 minutes which was enough for me;

Clearly the pressures of cuing were too much for me,
thanks for the picture Meg!

But at the end of that hideous cue we met Aurora, so I was happy!

In the Walt Disney Studios Park they have a parade called 'Disney's Stars 'n' Cars', where you had different Disney characters drive through the park in their cars.

Of course starting it off you had Mickey and Minnie

Ariel in her Sea Shell car

Lilo and Stitch

Jafar and Captain Hook. I just think he looks so evil and sassy here its hilarious
There were more, but like I've said before I don't want this to be an endless stream of pictures, so I'll just give you snippets from the parades. Then using our clever little Programme we were able to go and meet Pluto over in the Toon Plaza.

We also managed to meet Russell from Up earlier that day

The Russell meet-up wasn't in the programme, he was just a lucky spot from
Meg while we were walking around.
I didn't really buy anything this day, the only purchase I did make, besides food, was this lovely photo from the Princess Pavilion when we met Aurora. I through the picture was really nice and I thought that the frame was really cute as well, and just a nice little something to remember the trip.

The photo itself was €15.99, then the frame €4.00. So altogether it was €19.99,
which I thought was fairly reasonable for a nice photo and frame.
So that's Day 3 for you! We're now halfway through the holiday!
