Lets crack on with Day 2 of Disney Land Paris!
I'll tell you a little bit about breakfast at the hotel, just to give you an insight. So like I said in my previous blog post Meg and myself stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe, and with our holiday package it included breakfast at the hotel, which was super handy and the style of breakfast at the hotel was continental, that's the best word to describe it.
This is what Meg and I had on our first morning before going into the park
So as you can see they had things like; croissants, bread rolls, cereals, toast, yoghurt's and fruit. Then they had some sliced meats like ham, and cheese as well. So a little something for everyone, and if you're a carb Queen like me then there was plenty to choose from.
So after breakfast we headed off to the park, and as we stayed at a Disney Hotel, we were entitled to a thing called 'Extra Magic Hours', which basically meant we could get into the Park from 8am, but it is only for the Disney Land Park, not the Walt Disney Studios, which sucks, but you can always use some of your magic hours to start cuing for the park so you're right at the front for when it does open at 10am.
Only two lands are open this early and they are Fantasyland and Discoveryland, then Main Street USA is open as well. So Meg and I used our first Magic Hours of the trip going on the Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, and Space Mountain: Mission 2.

Once we had done the rides we decided that we wanted to meet some characters so after looking in the Programme, which turned out to be very useful, we knew that Rapunzel was doing a meet up from 11:30- 12:15, so we went a bit earlier so we were able to get a decent spot in the cue, and a fair few other people had had the same idea, but we still managed to meet her.
Rapunzel was so lovely and her hair and dress were gorgeous
We then decided to go over and explore the other park, Walt Disney Studios, where because it was such a horrible rainy day we decided to try and do all the shows. We managed to do the Art of Disney Animation show, Cinemagique, Stitch Live! and the Tram tour ride around lots of film sets and cars. The Art of Disney Animation is my favourite show as they focus on all the old classics and talk about the production of making a Disney movie.

We ventured into the Toy Story Play Land as well, which is super cool as the whole section is decorated with bits from the Toy Story films, like a giant walkie talkie, fairy lights and other toys which makes you feel as though you've become a toy and stepped into Woody and Buzz's world (pretty sure my imagination went into over drive then).

We made our way back into Fantasyland in the other park just in time to see the start of 'Disney Magic on Parade', and since the weather was pretty rubbish we were able to get right to the front and take some awesome pictures.
The fairies from Sleeping Beauty were right at the front of the parade
Elsa on her ice perch. Which was probably my favourite part of the parade
Anna, just below Elsa
Baloo and King Louis from Jungle Book
Then of course to finish off the parade you had Mickey and Minnie and the other classic characters.
There were loads more characters in the parade, and I took so many photos but we would literally be here all day if I were to put them all up.
Since it was fairly chilly we decided to use some vouchers that we had got from a restaurant we had had our lunch at earlier to buy a hot chocolate. We went into the Pizzeria Bella Notte, which was Lady and the Tramp themed, and it was just so adorable inside.

One of the nicest hot chocolates I have ever had, and they were in a Mickey Mouse cup, what could be better?!
After a while we headed back to the hotel to freshen up and drop off our purchases of the day and then headed back out to go and watch the light show, which was 'Disney Dreams'.
Everything looked so pretty at night
All ready to watch the lights show, even had my flashing ears on and everything!
The lights show was AMAZING some was in English and some was in French which was a nice contrast, because hearing some of your favourite Disney songs in French is just extraordinary. Like for myself, my favourite Disney film is The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is set in France, so hearing part of the song 'Out There' in French made the song sound extremely beautiful. You had other songs like 'A Friend Like Me' from Aladdin, and 'I see the Light' from Tangled (which was just so emotional, I don't even mind admitting I shed a little tear while it was on).
We then headed back to the hotel for a good night sleep, after having a full day at the park.
Like I said before here is my little haul for the day:
I got a Ham Piggy Bank, a Rapunzel keyring, a Minnie Mouse hair scrunchie ( I could not resist), a purple Mickey candle holder, an Alice in Wonderland Mug, 2 packets of my favourite sweets from Disney Land and finally a Princess postcard to put on my wall.
Ham Piggy Bank- €9.99 Princess Post Card: €2.50 Candle Holder: €7.99 Alice Mug: €11.99 Minnie Mouse Scrunchie: €5.99 Rapunzel Key Ring: €4.99 Sweets: €2.50 each
Before the lights show as it was a bit chilly I made the fab idea to invest in this Princess blanket, best idea ever! Its super soft and Meg and I shared it while we watched the lights show so we were super cosy and warm.
Princess blanket: €29.99
That's a run down of Day 2 for you, I'll try and not eave such a big gap between this one and the next one! If you want to check out my first day is Disney Land check out my previous Blog Post:
