Our 4th day in Disney Land, which Meg and I joke about and say was our 'photo day', was when the parks got a bit busier, so we did find ourselves cuing for things a lot longer, but to be honest we had basically done everything and were just going back and re-doing things, so it wasn't a problem.
But this was the day where we did look nicest and did feel like part of the parade at times, with our Midi skirts, both from Primark!
This was us in the morning over in Casey's Corner. Where Rapunzel does her meet and greet
As you can imagine Meg and I were prancing around Disney Land in our lovely flowing skirts and pretending we were princesses, and when the song 'Magic Everywhere' from the Disney Magic on Parade started up we were in our element, because of course by our 4th day we knew all the words to the song!
Throughout the past few days Meg and I had seen so many photo opportunities and points we wanted pictures with so throughout this day we managed to get pictures with basically everything...
From Swords in Stones...
To wishing wells...
To Mike Wazowski...
To Roz...
This is my best Roz face, can you tell?
To pretending to be in a RC box...
To posing by the Toy Story Play Land sign...
And of course we had to have a picture with Rex!
Honestly there is plenty more where that came from, but I shan't bore you with endless pictures of Meg and I posing by water fountains etc. Lets move onto more exciting matters, like meeting the main man himself Mickey Mouse!
You have two ways you can meet Mickey Mouse; one is in Fantasy Land in the Disney Land Park, where there is the Meet Mickey Mouse building which is open from 10:30 till 5:00, where you cue inside and it is made out to be like an old cinema screen, and they play old Mickey and Friends cartoons which is really lovely:
This is the building from the outside it is next to the Alice in Wonderland Maze.
Then inside they played Mickey and friends cartoons
Then of course at the end you meet the main man!
Then the other way you can meet Mickey would be over in the Toon Studio at the Toon Plaza, Mickey or friends (as it is described in the programme) are there from 10:00 till 12:00 then 2:30 till 4:00. Personally I found that meeting him over in Fantasy Land in the Meet Mickey building was better purely because you were given an estimation of how long you would be waiting, the cuing process was much more fun since you could watch cartoons, plus you get a much nicer backdrop and often a little bit more time with Mickey since it is just you and your party in the room. Where as when you meet characters outside where the cue is a lot more open you sometimes feel pressured to get your picture and go, where as they are much more calm and chilled in the Meet Mickey building. But this is only going on personal experience.
Other characters we met that day were Minnie and Mickey's bear Duffy, who is super adorable!
I even got kisses with Duffy, how sweet!
As part of the Swing into Spring celebrations they had going on there was a kind of show/parade over in Fantasy Land on the Castle Stage at certain times of the day, it was called Disney's Spring Promenade, and where we had looked in the programme to see the times we were able to get there in good time so we had front row spots, which was great. The show itself was a mixture of the characters and then dancers which was nice and there was live music as well which gave it a fantastic atmosphere.
The band
Stitch
Mary Poppins and Bert
I loved the girls costumes so much! They were so ladylike and pretty
What show would be complete without Mickey and Minnie?!
Back over in the Walt Disney Studios we watched the only show that we still hadn't watched, which was Animagique. The show itself features songs from some of the classics like The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Dumbo and Jungle Book and its Donald Duck who takes the lead in this show, which is a nice change, but obviously Mickey is still in it!
Another parade type performance we watched was up in the Gazebo in the Town Square, this one was also part of the Swing into Spring theme and was called Welcome to Spring, where the residents of Main Street USA welcomed us to Spring with music and dancing.
The Gazebo like the rest of the park was covered in flowers, so it really felt like Spring
Once again I loved the ladies dresses, they were so pretty and fancy!
We were also a bit cheeky and since we had spare time we thought we would have a little nosey in the Disneyland Hotel, which is the massive pink building that you walk under in order to get to the park. We wanted to see what it looked like inside and I tell you we were not disappointed.
Clock the palm tree, nothing says fancy like a palm tree, haha!
Big grand stair case
It was so lovely inside, and we must have looked like complete weirdo's strolling in with our sparkly Minnie Mouse ears, but never mind!
Since it was our last full day and the last time we would be able to watch the Disney Magic on Parade, we headed back over to Fantasy Land to get a spot to watch the Parade.
Me looking very excited to watch the parade in my Minnie ears and Sun glasses. In my defence I was knackered!
I did managed to get some amazing shots of Elsa, which I was super happy with.
Let it go, let it gooooooooo
Just look at the detail on the dress, so lovely!
Shortly after this we then headed back to the hotel as we had planned to go out for a nice dinner on our last night. Over in the Disney Village there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, including Mc Donalds, so there is something for everyone. We chose to go to Planet Hollywood, which is a restaurant filled with props and costumes from movies as well as tasty food.
Meg and I both went for Pizza's and I got some chips as well.
Me sipping my cocktail, because I'm that fancy... not.
Since Meg and I were feeling grown up, well as grown up as an 18 and 19 year old can in Disney Land Paris, we decided to get some cocktails, we both went for the Legally Blonde cocktail which was yummy, well until we started eating our Pizza's they were. Word to the wise, cocktails and Pizza do not mix! But other than that the meal was delicious, and we opted to pay a little extra to keep our cocktail glasses as a souvenir.
We then went onto the Disney Land Park to watch the lights show Disney Dreams one last time.
Last time seeing the sign all lit up, boo.
Meg and I both came prepared as we both brought our newly bought Princesses blankets.
After enjoying the lights show one more time, it was time to head back to the hotel and finish packing as we were going home the next day, sad times!
Here is the haul from the day, and its pretty much all food or sweets, apart from my Planet Hollywood glass:
Cookie Barrel- €15.99 Planet Hollywood glass- €12.90 Goofy Sweets- €2.99 Maleficent chocolate box- €3.99
So that's day 4, only one day left, boo!
