Worlds of Fantasy- Disney on Ice

Here is a something that I've spoken about in several of my other posts, my trip to see Disney on Ice!
So back in March my boyfriend and I had been together for a year, so to mark that as a surprise he brought me tickets to see Disney on Ice in London, he didn't think he'd be able to come because of work, so my mum had the other ticket (she didn't need much persuading).

As well as tell you about the show I thought I would throw in a little bit of fashion as well and show you what I wore on the day.

This was the full outfit, my denim jacket is from a charity shop, but originally from Primark. The grey vest top is from New Look, and the gorgeous flowery midi skirt is from a charity shop, and it doesn't have a shop inside because it is like proper Vintage, which is fab as it was a bargain.

These are the rings I wore, the Scrabble 'H' piece ring is from a Christmas market that my friend Elise went to, and the plain gold ring was my Nan's. The nail varnish that I'm wearing is, Rimmel London 60 seconds in colour 622 Oh boy you're so fine. It's just a lovely purple shade.

I also wore my everyday watch which has Mickey Mouse on, and it is from Urban Outfitters

For shoes I wore these cute pinky-nude pumps with an ankle strap from Primark.

I wore my usual make-up with a nude lipstick, and I put my hair in a high bun, and kept my fringe out with a middle parting.
Very excited, as you can probably tell.
Before we went to see the show we stopped off and did and little bit of shopping at Westfields, and needless to say I went a little bit crazy in Primark, (haul in my previous post). That was where I got these super snazzy Minnie Mouse sunglasses.

On arriving I could see that we were some of the eldest people there, but Disney is ageless, right?
I was incredibly jealous of all the little girls running around in Elsa costumes they looked adorable, if only they made them in my size...
The theme of the show was Words of Fantasy, so they had 4 different 'worlds' that they visited throughout the show, those being; The Little Mermaids, Cars, Tinkerbell and friends, and finally Toy Story.

Our view from our seats
We had fabulous seats, with a great view of the ice rink. It began with the classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy coming out and introducing the show, and the first act featured the story of the Little Mermaid, Cars, and Tinkerbell and the fairies from Pixie Hollow, then the second act was entirely dedicated to Toy Story. The Little Mermaid section was fantastic, they told an abridged version of the story and included several of the classic songs from the film, like Under the Sea, Part of your World and Kiss the Girl, which was beautiful to watch. Tinkerbell's section also told a story of her trying to find her place amongst the other fairies, which included a couple of songs. The Cars section was very cleverly done as they had real cars on the ice driving round the rink.
But the second act, which told a shortened down version of Toy Story 3, was my favourite. They had all the characters from the film, the originals like Woody, Buzz, Ham, Rex and Slinky Dog and of course Jessie and Bullseye and the others. My mum and I were cracking up it was just so funny and amazing to watch, the guy that played Ken had his mannerisms down to a T. Not to mention the massive Green Army Men ensemble  number which was fantastic.
Then for the end all the classic characters came out and they had one more number all together before the show ended.

Because I am such a big kid on the way out I picked up this Pink light up Minnie Mouse bow, which I wore all the way home might I add. I'm also planning to wear them in Disney Land, which is a WEEK TODAY.

But that was my Disney on Ice experience, I hope you enjoyed this, and I would defiantly recommend going if you get the opportunity, I know they are already booking for the next one which is 100 Years of Magic, which is touring this Autumn.

Anywho that is it for now, I'll be back very soon with a Disney Land Paris related post!
Cheerio!
