'A few of my favourite things'- May Favourites, and a catch up

Hey, hi, hello! It's been a few weeks but I am back! I'm back from Disney, boo, and back to normal life, as much as I'd rather stay in Disney Land.
Where do I start? Well Disney Land was A-MAZING to say the least, I had a fabulous time with my best friend Megan, and after the 5 days we didn't want to leave. We came home on the Thursday then the next day we got a coach down to Exeter and I spent the weekend at her house, and we went out on the Saturday night, then on the Sunday I came home. So it was a lot of travelling in the span of a few days, but totally worth it I had such a good time.

So rather than me try and squeeze all my Disney chatter into one blog post I am planning on doing several posts giving you a run down of each day, so I am able to talk about everything and not miss things out. So I thought I would start those posts later in the week, till then to get back into the swing of things I thought I would share with you my May favourites, since the month is nearly over, and I'm hoping to start doing these every month.

So to kick start the favourites I thought I would start with beauty products. Being a strong believer of not testing on animals majority of my beauty products are either from the Body Shop or Superdrug (as neither of those test on animals).

Around about a month ago I purchased this eye cream from the Body Shop, because one thing that really bugs me is the dark circles under my eyes, so I thought I would try this one out and after a month personally I do see a improvement, which is fab. Since it is an eye cream you only need a tiny amount so it does last, I mean I've been using this one for a month and I've still got tons left, and I use it every morning and night.

Another beauty eye related favourite of mine has been these eye make-up remover pads from Superdrug, I've been using these for a while now but only recently where I've been wearing more heavy make-up on my eyes for nights out have I realised how amazing they are. Since your eyes are very sensitive you don't want to be rubbing them too hard with regular make-up wipes to get your make-up off, but with these where they are pads designed especially for your eyes you can rub gently and they still get all the make-up off so easily, even water proof mascara, which I would always find myself practically having to scrub off, it comes off so easily with these pads, so I highly recommend these.

My favourite fashion trend  recently has been Gingham. I am literally obsessed, I think it is just such a lovely pattern and I can get in touch with my inner Dorothy Gale and still be on trend, bonus!

Check out Primark for Gingham at the moment, they have some lovely pieces for very reasonable prices.
Staying with fashion, the past few months I have seriously been loving Primark, I've always gone into Primark but recently I have been buying the odd bag full like every week or every other week, it is bordering on the line of a serious obsession. I may need help soon...

Moving onto more random favourites a food favourite that I have discovered recently has been the Proper Corn 'Sweet & Salty' popcorn. Being a massive lover of the sweet Cinema popcorn I didn't think I would like this, as I don't like Salty popcorn, but what's great about this is that the sweet and salty flavours are almost merged together. I think it might be a required taste but I really like it. It's almost like having a sweet snack mixed with a packet of salty crisps.

Plus they are only 129 calories, and after eating a bag you feel like you've had a decent amount, which is fab

Starting from January this year I've made it my mission to read al of the Harry Potter books in order from start to finish ( I've read the first three before, but when they got a bit bigger my year 7 self couldn't deal with it). So the book I've been reading this month is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I am loving it, like I've loved all the other books, I think I may even be starting to prefer the books to the films!

When Meg and I came back from Disney to hold off our Disney blues we watched Princess and the Frog, and to be completely honest I forgot how great this film actually was! I think I tended to over look the Princess and the Frog and I really don't know why, its so funny, got some cracking songs and a lovely storyline. So this is my movie of the month since I almost feel I've re-discovered it!

Two songs I've been loving recently have been 'Nobody to Love'- By Sigma

And 'Settle Down'- By The 1975, but the Young Ruffian Remix

Then of course last, but by no means least, my favourite part of May had to be going to Disney Land Paris!

Well that's all my May favourites! But stay tuned for all my Disney Land Paris posts that will be coming soon!

Cheerio!

Hannah
