Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life For Me

It seems that just as I start a blog I'm already neglecting it! I'm letting myself off due to the fact I've had a hectic couple of weeks, what with helping backstage at my Drama Schools Junior Production of The Pirates of the Curry Bean, yes this meant that I listened to The Pirates of the Caribbean theme tune and had it suck in my head for the whole week, but I loved it. I'm so proud of all the children, especially our youngest who were Rats and Monkeys, especially the fact that we were at a lovely theatre all week just topped it off.

Then after that had finished I had an audition last Sunday for my theatre groups production of 'The Ladykillers',  which is a comical play about a group of men who pose as musicians and rent a room in an elderly lady's house in order to fulfil their plan to rob a bank. I auditioned for the part of Mrs Wilberforce, who is the elderly lady, and I was so pleased when I found out I was successful! It's going to be such a fun part to play and I'm so excited to start rehearsals. My Dads reaction to me getting the part was just the sweetest thing ever, his eyes positively lit up, it was such a lovely moment, as The Ladykillers is one of his favourites.

Now that I've given that little update I'll crack on with getting a few more Disney related posts up!

Toodle-pip!
